Make America Colorful Again

Illustration, design, website, marketing, fulfillment

Make America Colorful Again is a coloring book about our big wet president, badly drawn.

We did this project during election season in 2016 as a fundraiser for Immigration Institute of the Bay Area, who provide free and sliding scale immigration legal services.

For this project, we:

  • Illustrated a coloring book of blind contour drawings
  • Crowdfunded a print run (7x its goal)
  • Made a website
  • Printed books and produced perks like coloring pencils and stickers
  • Fulfilled orders

After we had some nice articles written up, a couple galleries in Oakland and SF invited us to host coloring parties, which also served as group therapy sessions.

Results:

$12,000 donated to IIBA

300 coloring books and 45 original illustrations sold
